Bio:I started my Ph.D. program in 2009 at the Computer Science and Engineering department, University of California, San Diego. I am advised under Prof. Tajana Simunic Rosing and am part of System Energy Efficiency Lab. My research interests are computer systems and computer architecture, in general, and performance and power optimization of memory systems using non-volatile memories, in specific.

From 2007 to 2009, I was a Master's student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Seoul National University, and worked under the advice of Prof. Sang Lyul Min. My research interests were design and implementation of high performance flash memory controllers, and my Master's thesis was "Efficient flash memory request handling based on split transactions." From 2006 to 2007, I worked at n&k Technology as an application engineer in the semiconductor industry. I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science in 2006 from University of California, Berkeley.
