His research interests are in operating systems and computer architecture with specific interest in exploring power performance trade-offs in server systems and data centers.

Prior to coming to UC San Diego, he worked with STMicroelectronics in India from 2002-2005, and has done internships with Qualcomm (summer 2006) and Sun Microsystems (summer 2007 and 2008) in the field of low power systems.
