Bio:
Gabriel M. Lipsa obtained his BS degree from the Automatic Control and Computer Science Department of Technical University “Gh. Asachi” Iasi, Romania in 2003. Afterwards he worked for the Research Center for Information Technology Karlsruhe, Germany as a research assistant. From 2005, he began studying towards the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland, USA.. He received his MS degree in 2009 and his PhD degree in 2010 from University of Maryland at College Park with the thesis “Distributed Estimation over Networks with Communication Costs”. Currently, he is working at the International Monetary Fund, Washington DC, USA.
