From 2004-2007 he held research and teaching positions at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. During this period he was involved in several large projects performed in collaboration with different educational institutions, such as the University of Pennsylvania and Universida Polit?cnica de Madrid, and companies including IPMobileNet, Cubic, Signumconcepts, Bitgear and IRITEL. Since 2008 he has been a research assistant and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of mLAB, Real-Time & Embedded Systems Lab and PRECISE group. He received several awards including the best student award at the School of Electrical Engineering at University of Belgrade in 2003 and a best student paper nomination at IEEE CDC 2010. His research interests are in the areas of embedded systems; embedded control systems; embedded networked controlled systems; real-time systems; real-time signal processing; medical devices modeling, validation and verification; and cyber-physical systems.
