Bio:Rajib Nath is a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He is currently working under the supervision of Professor Tajana Rosing. His research interest involves energy efficient hybrid memory architecture. Before joining UCSD, Rajib worked as a graduate research assistant under the supervision of Dr Jack Dongarra and Dr Stanmire Tomov at the Innovative Computing Laboratory (ICL) during his Masters in University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In ICL, his research focused on High Performance Computing. He was involved with MAGMA (Matrix Algebra on GPU and Multicore Architectures) and PLASMA (Parallel Linear Algebra for Scalable Multi-core Architectures) project. He investigated the prospects, obstacles and excitement of the current and future hybrid computing infrastructure. He made a major controbution to the MAGMABlas component in MAGMA library. His GEMM code was included included as a part of NVIDIA's CUBLAS-3.2. Rajib holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh.
